Rooted in the traditional Yoga asana, my style addresses Western research in anatomy, biomechanics, mindfulness and embodied movement. This holistic approach works with the physical, emotional and mental aspects of you and elicits greater body awareness and experience of inner aliveness.

Depending on your current needs, the teachings may emphasise a correct skeletomuscular alignment e.g. working with injury or pain. When going through periods of elevated stress and anxiety you may be encouraged and guided to find release and emotional stability by engaging in a more spontaneous, body-led practice with less verbal instruction.

Practicing somatically inspired Yoga you will:

 

Restore a full joint mobility

Inspire inner confidence and greater physical expression

Break through habitual movement patterns

Enhance your body’s sensitivity and receptivity

JOURNEYING TOGETHER

I offer sessions for couples and small groups. Sharing a practice weaves a subtle bond that helps deepen your mutual sense of empathy and understanding; and it is through this sharing of your strengths and vulnerabilities that you learn to build a greater connection and trust.
All sessions are tailored to address your individual needs.

 

 

 

How it works

Private sessions take place at your convenience in the intimacy of your home.
Our initial, often 8 weeks or longer, commitment, provides me with a more detailed insight into your needs and objectives and allows me to tune into your process in a more subtle and individualised way. Before we meet, I offer an initial 15 min phone/video call consultation. It is vital for me to make sure we are the right fit. We then schedule an introductory session to allow me to further understand your needs and create
bespoke weekly sessions designed to support you and your life.

 

It is my utmost wish for you to see and experience a tangible shift in your well-being within a short period of time. However, it is vital to understand that each process is unique; healing and growth cannot be rushed.

Mindfulness is our innate ability for presence, an ability to experience the richness and complexity of life with an ongoing sense of curiosity and spontaneity.

 

With our lives becoming increasingly more distracted and mentally demanding, causing stress, anxiety and overwhelm, Mindfulness Meditation provides a powerful tool that allows us to return to the stillness of the mind, teaching us how to cultivate a moment-to-moment intimacy with our experience. It is an essential skill for living a meaningful life.

 

I teach body and breath-based mindfulness meditations that helps quieten the mind, expand your sensory aliveness and deepens your self-awareness.

Our work together may include embodied movement and writing to support your practice.
